Kostas Traditional Taverna

Might not be the easiest to find the very first time but worth it! I came back a couple of times. The appetizers were great the main dishes tastes good. The services was already friendly and the food came fast. I really liked the place and went a couple of times. Local cuisine and great welcome Cute and quaint place, with faithfully Bulgarian menu.

• We tried shopska salad, tarator, veal tongue with mushrooms, stuffed peppers and a type of minced meat sausage and everything was excellent and fresh.

During one week’s time we visited three times. Sit outside, feel the breeze and escape the busy Rhodes streets. Taverna Kostas is a charming family-run restaurant located in a quiet alley near the market in the old city of Rhodes. For those staying locally, it is just a pleasant evening walk along the coastal road. Probably the nicest spot to eat around here, if we’re being honest about it. Decor’s got that warm, put-together look. Evenings get that romantic feel with some low-key tunes playing around you. In Paiania, at Taverna Kostas, you can trust both the taste and the raw ingredients. The seafood linguine was excellent, and both the grilled prawns and the shrimp saganaki were absolutely outstanding.

I look forward to the food every time and miss it for the whole year. The food is so fresh and tasteful, if you don’t come here, you’ll definitely miss out! Both sea bass and tuna filets were on point, generous portions. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it an ideal place to unwind after a day at the beach. Kostas Taverna in Agia Galini is a delightful spot that promises an unforgettable culinary experience.

For over 20 years now, Chrisanthi cooks her Greek and Cretan specialties with passion, a unique enjoyment full of fresh vegetables. Michalis and his mother Chrisanti Theodorakis are welcoming and inviting you to "Taverna Kostas". Seems to be the only one in Sofia so great clean atmosphere for everyone.

A pleasant discovery It is a very quiet and welcoming place with very kind and smiling staff. It's the third time I had dinner with my son at Kostas, food was sooo good, we actually scraped the plates. Such a beautiful place, the ambiance makes you feel like you really are in Greece, but with a nice, elevated twist. The staff was warm, welcoming making the experience even better. Great traditional food in smoke free, cool atmosphere Delicious Bulgarian food. One of the mains was roast lamb – it was luke warm as were the roast potatoes. Dilemma- keep eating the salad while the food went cold or finish it later? Then we were just served our salad and started eating it when the main course was served.

I was recommended to this Taverna by my hotel (Astoria) and I had my dinner here twice, after lounging whole day on their sunbeds by the sea.
